ZX Problems or not?

Hi,
3 months ago I bought a ZX Avantage 1.4i. But after a while driving it something strange happened, if I floor it, to take over a car for example a light (orange) goes on in de bottom right corner of my dashboard and the car begins to choke. Can any one tell me what that light means I try to find a picture but it’s hard when you don’t know what it means.
The same light goes on when you start the car. (orange)

This orange light is the engine management system light. If it comes on while driving this means that there is something wrong with the engine management system. As you say the engine seems to choke when the light is on this is another factor which means there is a problem with the engine management systems and its sensors.
