c5 2.2 deisel filter leaking

Hi all back again, the diesel filter housing is all ways wet on the out side with diesel changed the filter and o ring last week and its still the same any tips thanks in advance

I found it quite difficult to relocate mine following a filter change and found it would not fit at all with the O-ring supplied. I could smell diesel and stopped to investigate, found diesel flooding out of it and had great problems reseating it properly.
I ended up bashing it on with a lump of wood and a hammer. This was a roadside repair while out in the country and not a method I would have resorted to willingly. Worked though.
