Re: nut size?
I think the numbers in the description reveal all: 24x150 -14 - 35. Shaft diameter 24mm, thread pitch 1.5mm, depth? 14mm, across the flats 35mm.

Re: nut size?
Do you have any marine salvage/government surplus type places around your area? When I think 'where on earth am I going to be able to get my hands on a v12 marine engine with pistons the size of dinner plates/dirty great spanner or socket/deactivated anti air craft gun/5" thick rope/small second hand filing cabinet' I go to this place http://www.woods-group.co.uk/

Re: nut size?
I've always used my 30 year old 36mm 3/4 drive socket on citroen/peugeot driveshafts. The only ones that are different is the very small models like saxo/106. Itreasure this socket because I had the outer wall machined down so that it will fit inside the hub centre. Nowadays you can buy special thin-walled sockets. Don't know if they're as strong as mine though!

Re: nut size?
For many years on various Citroen/Peugeot drive shaft nuts I have used an Elora 3/4"drive socket marked 13/16W 15/16 BS (internal dimension = 35.7mm).
