Morning all,
been pondering for a while now about some aloys for the estate, Dont need any but you know how it is!! get an idea in your head etc!!
now my best mate has a set of the peugeot 15" cyclone alloys (306 gti-6, some late cabriolets and meridians had them) in his garage doing nothing as he's gone back to a mazda mx5, got me thinking, has anyone put a pair on a Xantia estate or saloon for that matter?? did a google for Xantia + cyclones but got nothing, thought someone on here may remember some??
Also got me thinking, ive a set of the old 205/309 speedlines on my Bx that had new tyres when i took it off the road, i refurbed them blac k with a silver lip, and thought i wonder what they'd look like on the estate, ive seen them on a saloon, and they looked 'okay' but the estate is a bit different shaped, so may look better or not??
And finally!! another picture request, has anyone seen a Xantia on wheels like the Khan RSR?? there the Flat 5 spoke design, spoke to the edges of the wheels??? as soon as i saw the Xant when we got it something in my head clicked and i cant get it out, a set of them in 17" would look the nuts! IMO!!
(heres a link to the Xsara owners with some pictures of threm on a Xsara,- http://www.cxoc.net/index.php?topic=10811.0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
thanks in advance lovely people !!!!

Some thoughts (and pics) on the 17" alloys route:

this guide shows the fitment of the Pug is the same as the Xant:

Watch the tyres fitted though as you'll need to take account of the final diameter:

Re: Pug 15" cyclone alloys on a Xanty estate??
kinda makes me think that the speedlines wont look that good on the car looking at that picture!! most of those alloys dont look that good,sad as they look great ona BX!
hmmmn, have also been thinking about the gti-180 alloys, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-PEUGEOT-1 ... 33796ac0dd" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
think the xanty needs an angular wheel to make the most of the shape!
i did the 17's route when i had the BX but the way i drove it and the Extra stresses they cause dmeant i was replacing bottom arm pushes every 6 weeks! am aware of speedo readings etc, one of the first things i do is flat straight road, sit at 3 consatnt speeds with a good gps on to see whats what!! the 17's on the BX bought the speedo down to 1.5mph overread over 8mph on the std 14's!
if i was any good at photo editing i'd have a go but sadly my Rad skillz run out using Paint lol!! might have a crack though! hahah!

Would never have thought such a thing existed but I've found an Alloy wheel configurator for the Xantia!!

Bung that in the "Useful Links" section Tim, before it gets buried.
