Trawling through Car & Classic (what a way to spend an evening! ) and spotted this beautiful S1 GTi Turbo:

Yes, I have to agree. A s1 GTi Turbo in silver has to be one of the best Cx's.
I'm torn about the colour as swordfish grey is gorgeous too!

Must say that I love it too... Silver is the colour. I do like Black too, although it's a nightmare to keep clean. Bleu Romantique is nice too, I look forward to the other S1 GTi Turbo (as mentioned in the ad) being completed...

I prefer the Series 2 CX as a rule. The interior was much better - loved the sweep of that centre console.

What a lovely car. As far as I know we have got only one CX Turbo S1 here in Australia. Sadly the owner will keep that one until his death and last time I saw John he was in a good health
The one over here is also in the same colour, I think. Would that be Gris Perle? That is the colour of my CX Prestige '81.
