Does it have to be May 2012 Malcolm? I know we've got some from earlier in the year here but no sure where May's is.

I'd highly doubt the BX is in there though - I think some late Xantia's get in there but thats it...

Will have a look...

thanks for your reply Franklin
the reason it needs to be May this years copy is the biker that stoved my BX door in's insurance company are using the market research bit to offer me a minimal settlement, they have had two engineers look into the market value of BX's, one is supozed to be a senior engineer, who state according to My 2012 glasses guide the value for a top condition BX of similar type, year and mile's is worth £450,

Tim Leach has told me a while back BX's arnt in the glasses guide anymore,
so i just wat to confirm this,

maybe if you have any before and after this you could let me know when the BX was last entered in it

I'll see what I can rustle up Malcolm...

Give them the links for these three BXs that show that BX prices are on the up:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-CITROEN- ... 557wt_1165" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 205wt_1165" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-CITROEN- ... 3cc70576a6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So that's £1200, £1600 and £1995...

Will have a look-see...

Malcolm,
if you are CCC member I believe that they are qualified to value your car for you.

as Franklin says below and i have already spoken to Brian Drummend and Tim Leach, but they are going to compose a letter to state the CCC's opinion on what BX's are selling for at present

OK Malcolm.
I'm sure Tim will have a pretty accurate idea of it's worth prior to the collision.

Just had a look Malcolm and laid my hands on the October 2011 Edition (the latest edition's aren't here at home).

Says on the front "Car Values from 1999-2011" so obviously no BX in there... So it definitely won't be in the May 2012 book either...

BX prices are on the up for good cars - those three BXs above that dad had demonstrate the point...

Good luck Malcolm. [-o<
