Hey, my steering wheels gone like an areoplanes..

hi all,
my steering wheel can now move in all directions by about 10mm, i'm guessing that the top bush has gone or at least moved, GSF does not seem to sell them. expensive or a pig of a job?
or am i way off base?

Yes sounds like a top bush. Don't know how to get it out, what it is - ie felt, plastic or ball bearing.
Its worth taking the wheel off (easy job I think - but don't use the steering lock to hold the wheel while you undo the nut)and seeing if the bush has moved. It may have risen up the column and if so you may be able to push it back.
