C5 flywheel

Post by imperial21 »

I was thinking as i am changing the clutch on my c5 could i fit a flywheel from a 110hdi xantia to my car as a cheap solid conversion ? What i do find funny is the clutch for the c5 is cheaper than the one for an xantia !

It may well use a different clutch which wont fit the solid flywheel, I don't know this but I would suggest looking on ebay and the net for pictures and numbers of both clutches and comparing them - alternatively someone may be along in a minute who knows.

Im really not sure either, It would fit but im thinking it probably wont.

A solid clutch conversion does work fine on the 2.0HDi 110s, but I think it is a conversion kit rather than fitting a Xantia flywheel.
