would this work?
the cylinder on 1 of my rear brakes has gone, both end of the brake pipe are also stuck so i was thinking - if i buy another cylinder can i just remove the piece's and swapped them with my duff 1?

When you say 'gone' do you mean it's leaking, if so you can buy new seals for it, look for a company called Big Redd they will probably have them.

chop the pipe and make/have a new one made in kunifer,
this way you will only need to undo the end at the union as you are replacing the cylinder,
if you chop the union end off near the pipe nut you should be able to get a hex socket onto it
if the old cylinder is seized the bore will more than likely be corroded so new seals wont seal,
like most things these days they are made/churned out to a price so not really designed to be re/sealed

thought about chopping the pipe but my flaring tool doesn't work on steel pipe.

well as you have a flaring tool just buy/get a length of kunifer,
maybe a local garage will sell you enough for you to make a new pipe up
