I wouldn't have thought it was possible - but I could be wrong.

I ran my previous C5 on 100% bio for about six months with no untoward effects whatsoever and it smelled good too - the bio was made in a factory unit on the estate where I work and the producers used it to power their fleet of cars and lorries.
Bio was from virgin rape seed oil.
Unfortunately no longer available.

Oh right thats interesting. What was your thinking Peter?
We make our own and we did the quality test and its well inside EU standards(no unprocessed oils). Its basically that I've been reading that the brain has to be gently swapped to bio as the fuel system would have to get used to it. Main reasons people think its no good is down to either people not making it properly or washing the fuel properly or the fact that its so clean it can remove the crap from fuel tanks and fuel lines and ends up in the filter, that generally brings on the engine management light.
Just thought I'd get a few thoughts on the matter. Been out in it today and nothing wrong yet!! apart from the dam lights!!! but thats for another thread. lol

Either way - I also suffer from them but a couple of years ago I remember reading a PSA page about their HDI engines in which it said they were OK on biodiesel up to a maximum of 30%.
