relay 2.8 hdi engine, 2.8 jtd fiat ducato question

Hi everyone i need an engine for my 2003 relay van its a 2.8 hdi, can someone tell me if i can put a 2.8 jtd fiat ducato engine in it from a 2003 model, i dont really understand the whole hdi / jtd thing? thanks
