C2 wireing diagrams wanted.....

Hi..

anyone have acess to citroen c2 wiring diagrams.. we have picked up a little c2 bit i have a tempery fault on that theres no throttle response but after a key off it can go ok for a while... also stuck in lomp mode..

i fiddled with the connections to the ecu and it was better but still in limp mode. the car has had a new throttle pedal but its still the same.. lexia says faults on the pedal curcuit so i need to have a look closer..

P1161 by any chance ??
Have a look up behind the glovebox on the bulkhead & you will see a 4 pin interconnector that looks identical to the one on the throttle pedal, this is where the throttle pedal harness is adapted from LHD to extend over to the right hand side. Cut this connector out & solder the wires direct, this connector is known to be troublesome. Do one wire at a time because if i remember right the colours don't match up at each side of the connector.

Next thing..

I put the lexia on and went to Parameter Measurements .... I got the following screen shot..



NOTE: The turbo pressure is showing 1002 mb... just under atmosphere pressure. But its the same when the sensor is unplugged, and doesnt change when revving the engine. Would this sugest a buggered sensor, throwing the car into Limp Mode (EVEN though it says ECU fault on the display of the car)...

What other fault codes are there on the car ?

Ive got a lexia so i dont get codes wheeler...
it was only refering to the throttle pedal...

If you press the validate key when the fault code is highlighted it will not only show you the 'P' code but also loads of other data about when the fault occured, engine RPM, coolant temp, manifold pressure etc. How much info you get depends on the ECU you are reading.

Well all I can say is Thank You!!

I got to work this morning just, then while at work i unplugged the connection going to the drivers side and plugged the spare throttle in.. the limp mode and ecu fault came up by now.. when i plugged the spare throttle in the ecu reset itself and was ok.. i plugged the harness back together... then tonight after work took the car back to mums and it was the furthest it got with no issues.. so i decided to do as sugested and cut the plug out and hard wired the joint..

i plugged lexia back in and now we still have no faults what so ever...and full power..

so i think wheeler you were spot on.. told them to try it and see now.
