Hi Steve,

One of two places on a 1998 as that was the year the location changed...

Either stencilled on the bulkhead near the driver's side strut top in white paint or on a white label in the driver's door shut on the A Pillar next to the label that gives tyre pressures.

The code is a five letter one...

Here's an example of the code on a '97 Xantia.



The paint code in this example is KPKCR (for Mauritius Blue)

If the code is not there then it'll be in the same format on the white label in the driver’s door shut...
