Hi,
How do I find out if I have a Xantia HDI 90 or HDI 109 ??

Look at your VIN. Digit 6-8 will be RHY for a 90,RHZ for a 110

A 109 means it's lost a horse along the way Eddie :lol:

It's easy. Look at the airbox and look for a big pipe running right next to it. This is one of the hoses to the intercooler which is sandwiched between the cooling rad and the aircon condenser.

The 90 does not have an intercooler.

The 90 also seems a lot roomier under the bonnet!

Other dead giveaways is the 110 has the ML5T gearbox with cable operated gearchage and hydraulic clutch whereas the 90 has a BE3 with a rod operated gearchange and cable clutch...

Ha Ha - yes I lost a horse - he fell at the last fence :)
According to the VIN its RHZ for a 110
Dont know if thats good or bad to be honest!

Eddie, believe me that's good :-D The 110 is a superb motor. Some say the 90 is a bit or a weakling in comparison but to be honest I can't comment as I've only ever driven a 110...
