C5 PCD & wheel offset

Post by SaabC5 »

As the title says, whats the PCD and wheel offset for an MY02 2.2HDi C5? I'm looking at aftermarket wheels cos i really dislike the ones Citroen fitted as standard.

Appreciate anybody in the know helping me out,

Andy.

Cant help you with that I'm afraid but don't buy big ones, they will ruin the ride.

That much i do know Pete. Started on 16's for my Saab, went to 18's (crash, bang, ouch), settled on 17's as a compromise.
I might even look at other Citroen wheels but most of them just leave me cold with their poor looks.

No you wont, it will certainly be 4 stud on a C5I or C5II. C5IIIs are 5 stud.

Sticking with manufacturer wheels, wheels from 406s and 307s will fit fine. Though the offset on 307 wheels sees a bit different, having seen a C5 with them.

There are a good few C5 wheels to choose from, I like quite a few of them. For cleaning purposes, those ones linked to above are the best of the 16"s.

I have these two sets for mine. The one on the right is the standard wheel for my VTR and the one on the left are C5I Exclusive SE wheels, fitted with winter tyres.

This pic shows a few, 15" SX, 16" C5I VTR and 16" C5II VTR.

I have the standard Exclusive wheels as in picture above and I love them as they show little mechanics behind.
Volvo S80 D5.........
C5 2.2HDi Exclusive 2003 manual (now gone).
2009 Renault Megane, the misses drive.
Had a 1988 BX 19TRS Auto many moons ago.
Forgive any spelling mistakes, it's the phone not me.

I think the best looking wheels of those three are the VTR wheels.
I'm off on saturday to pick up new wheels for my SX. Fed up of the standard ones. Will post a pic after fitting them ;-)

Which style of VTR wheel? The earlier or the late?

Ah, I guess it was you who posted a pic of your Misty Lilac on the CCC Facebook page? 8-)

#-o My bad. Thats what happens when you take the word of the Rochford Tyres website, put in a MkI 2002 C5 and it gives you 5 x 108. Guess i should look at my nuts more often.......ooooeeerrrr. :-D
