Belingo 1.6hdi brake problem

Hi,
Can anybody help, my dad said his brakes were binding on his belingo , I checked all the wheels which were running free, his brake pedal goes hard and if you pump the pedal hard a couple of times it's ok. I checked the brake vacuum pump and was not sucking air so I replaced it. Problem stopped for a week, now com back again it does not do it all the time, probably a couple of times day .

does it have remote servo linkage running from the pedal across the bulkhead to the servo,

if so maybe the linkage needs lubing as it might be becoming seized

Thanks for reply, not about linkage I will have to check, it's a 2006 model.

checked for linkcage, it does not have one. i am wondering if callipers could be coroded

which side of the bulkhead/engine bay is the servo, if on the passengers side it will remote linkage,

i just looked on service citroen and it shows remote linkage on some BLING GO's,

if you send me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will check for your specific model

Hi Malcolm ,
Numbers are 93317985. I have removed plastic cowling from bulkhead and could not see a linkage , servo is on drivers side.
