Just been looking at the service interval list for my C5 2.2[173].
Says
80,000 Miles - Top up EOLYS 176
140,000 Miles - Replace
I have never owned a car with a particle filter before, and i am now on 127,000 miles.
It has all main dealer stamps upto 100,000 miles so i am guessing they did the 80,000 top up.
Anybody any ideas how much i need to be saving for this 'Replace' job at an independent citroen specialist? They charge £40 an hour labour, but no idea what this part costs or how long they take to fit.
I have got a long list of things its going to cost me soon in servicing

They are quite reasonable here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11001-CITROEN ... 1c20b71a9b" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And not to difficult to fit but you may need to have the ECU reset.
