Re: C5 rear suspension probs
Do you mean continually or just a few times? The older hydropnumatic Citroens had a mechanical height control valve which would stick and cause something similar, I think the C5s have electronic control, fortunately I haven't had a problem with mine yet. I'm sure somwone will be along shortly who has.

Re: C5 rear suspension probs
It is fairly normal for them to adjust height a minute after being stopped, depending on what they have been doing immediately prior to stopping. Usually drops or rises an inch or so, just once.
Also they have a reputation for dancing around a bit if on an incline and the steering turned hard left or right although I haven't personally observed this in six years and two C5s.
This should stop when the car is locked.

Hi mine could dance around for 10 mins could it be the potenion thingy with the dogleg that's easy to fit the wrong way?

Re: C5 rear suspension probs
If it hasn't been worked on or damaged it could just be dirty or the tracks burned.
It shouldn't continue once the car is locked but if it does it will flatten the battery as the suspension pump draws a fairly heavy current.
Put it into suspension low overnight to prevent that happening until the problem is rectified.
If it is the potentiometer I don't think that they are expensive, around £30 IIRC and they are easy to change.

Left the suspension in low it stopped dancing but only the front lowered
