quick question: where is the alarm siren located?

Mk 1 xantia, location of alarm siren. I found a real crappy looking 'horn' at the lh side behind the front bumper but the horn 'proper' is clearly seen front left of the radiator.

Theres TWO Horns.. One is at the passenger side of the Radiator behind the bumper/Grill, the other is behind the bumper ahead of the passenger wheel.

The siren is located behind the passenger wing, at the top in the area behind the Side Repeater indicator....

I did that with Cassy, use the current horn wires to activate a relay, then take a new feed from the battery to power the compressor.

On later MK1s and MK2s the alarm siren is located on the RH side just in front of the washer bottle. For obvious reasons it's an absolute sod to get to as it's buried in the crossmember...

Was originally asking as I located the electric horn low down at the left. It is a corroded mess and the wire was broken off. The small air horn in the middle works fine and yep, used the feed for that on the relay. I'd wondered if the broken electric horn had perhaps been the alarm hut no. I've never actually heard the siren so don't know if it works. It had been previously switched off by the key barrel at the scuttle. But! 2 weeks ago Simone broke into Charlie Brown (seemingly with consummate ease) but the alarm had been off and disabled via the fuse due to the moisture problem leaving the indicator light stuck on. Now it is hack on, remote being used and deadlocks used. Hopefully the thieves, having found NOTHING in the car, will leave it alone...

Anyway, got air horns now and they're LOUD! Still run the horn in front of the radiator in tandem but you can no longer hear it over the trumpets so perhaps it should go too..
