What sort ?

Front / side repeater / rear / stalk switch ? :)

Tell me the year too and I'll furnish you with some numbers.

Choice of two then, its probably the earlier one. Build code will tell for sure if in doubt. The wrong one probably won't fit as the headlights vary on the same build code too, basically up to 8000 OR 8001 onwards. :)

Quick part numbers for now and pic / key below (double check though I've not mixed them up)

Early (left) 630325 - up to and including 8000
Later (left) 630373 - 8001 onwards

Early (right) 630326 - up to and including 8000
Later (right) 630374 - 8001 onwards

Build code should be on door / a pillar area / under bonnet on strut tower. '98 is one of the first though, I'd be surprised if it was the later units unless its had later headlights (and changing those might involve changing the front panel etc, not looked into that) , I think 8001 is the slightly 'facelifted' shape one tbh.

One confession, I'm not 100% sure if they are judging left right from standing in front of the car looking at it or from the perspective of the driver sat inside it...

That might be Valeo's own number, PSA generally don't put part numbers onto much unfortunately, would be a great help with curious hoses especially. :) As a sidenote part numbers on hoses is something GM tends to do actually which is a great help...

Back on topic, as far as I'm aware nearly all side repeaters are start with 63x, I looked at 306 and Boxer ones as well to be sure.
