C5 2.0 HDi VTR boot release

Can anyone help, my boot lid has decided to open itself, only started yesterday, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Is there a certain thing you or the car is doing when it opens or is it just randomly?

Im sure there is a recent thread with a similar thing, might be worth trying to track that down and see what progress they made with it.

It's just random, opens itself then clicks several times, stays closed when shut and locked but when unlocked it keeps clicking every so often, I assume that the handle is electrically operated, so gonna have a look and clean the connectors, just thought that there was a common problem and easy solution, Citroen electrics at there best lol
