immobilizer

[citroen 2.2hdi]

hi all im new here so apologies if i posted this in wrong section..!

now my problem i have a 2.2hdi c5 03 plate it seems to have lost it's immobilizer code it shows immobilizer error on mfd and wont start

now i have done a bit of research prior to this site and it seems that i need to have the key recoded to the said car and mentions a 4 digit code scratch card that we do not have

how or can i still get this recoded ok..?

any elp etc would be great.........

Yup you got the right section, welcome aboard!
I got my 4 digit number by taking my V5 into a dealer and asking them, some apparently will charge, but mine didn't.
You'll also need access to a Lexia computer to do the recoding.

Have you tried using a spare key incase the key is faulty ?
