Slightly rough idle when AC is on - Xantia 2.0 16v petrol

Hi
The idle is smooth when the AC is off, when AC is switched on the idle becomes a bit rough. Is this normal ?

maybe your AC pump pulley bearing are failing,
if this is the case mind the pulley does not cause the aux drive belt to drop off and end up behind the cam belt cover, which in turn can cause the cam belt to fail,
