C5 limp home first thing?

Post by robg58 »

Just picked up my third C5,first one son crashed ,second one I was involved in a multi car shunt on the motorway=written off.Third time lucky.
It has done 125000 miles no service history, but looking back the old MOT advisory notes not needed much over the years , came with 5 brand new tyres for the sx version for £350 at auction.Only 2 weeks mot , quick look over put it in for mot sailed through straight away.
My question is , this car as well as the last one had the same fault, upon starting in the morning you can't drive past 50mph/about 2500 revs , at exactly the same point on the road with both cars(about a mile from the house) it's almost if somebody gives it a boot up the butt and the turbo? kicks in ,drives fine for the rest of the day. What causes this?
