Citroen C5 diagnostic tool

I need a diagnostic tool for a Citroen C5 HDI 2006 model. The Lexia 3 apparently is "not good for C5 and 307" according to the suppliers' web site. What are the Lexia 3 problems on a C5? Is there a work around? Is there an alternative to the Lexia 3?

If the seller states that their Lexia cannot access those cars then it must be a duff example, I've used my Lexia 3 on several C5's without a problem.

Which supplier are we talking about here ? Citroen? Actia? or some no name Chinese outfit?
Have read that some of the Chinese clones have a problem with later all CAN Bus cars i.e 2005 on, I feel sure that there are others who can comment on this with more authority.

From what ive heard some of the chineese copys dont talk to full CAN model cars, the mk2 & 3 C5's are full CAN but the mk 1's aint.

My Chinese v46 Lexia 3 communicates fully with my 2001 C5.

Thanks for all your input guys. I was looking at a chinese Lexia 3 on the internet. From comments received I would need a better version. I want to use it on a current model C5 2.7HDI Twin Turbo. Can anyone tell me what I should get?

I'm using my Lexia 3 on 2.7 C6's and have no problems.
