C5 MK2 54 reg 2.0 hdi fuel injector cleaner what is best

hi all. can anybody tell me the best fuel injector cleaner for my C5 2.0 hdi 54 reg or is it advised not to use it on these engines with having that extra tank with the eolys fluid in ( i think thats what you call it ) all i know is it squits a little bit in when you fill it with diesel.. i have seen the redex diesel / petrol treatment on the shelf but did not rate it when i used it on my pug 406 hdi so can anybody help

The only fuel system cleaner I use is Forte, you can get Forte Diesel treatment - it is a one use cleaner and not an addative despite how its name might suggest.

I usually put it in with lowish fuel and give the car a good thrashing, often improves things. WHich reminds me, prbably should put one in mine!

I use it on all HDis, its full of lubrication (unlike many fuel system cleaners) and works a treat. In fact, when I do a fuel filter change I fill the fuel filter housing with this Forte. It stopps the need for the car to prime the fuel as it can run on this neat and also works its best.

+1 for Forte products. I use it for engine flushes and also injector cleaning on both petrol & diesel cars.
