how to set timing for automatic zx1.9i year make 1994 and automatic zx2.0i year make 1996? can it be done manually without using fancy gadjets!

Dont think you can change the timing manually on these becuase the timing is controlled by the engine management system, and im not sure if you can gain access to the timing through any diagnostic equipment either such as citroens proxia machine. My question would be why do you want to change the timing manually anyway becuase as I have said its all controlled by the computer.
