c5 54 reg 2.2 hdi exclusive sat nav system bad signal help!

My sat nav built in c5 was fine up till this morning driving to work and states bad also the road I was driving on wasn't on the screen,what should I do to get it perfect again?cheers folks

are we talking about an RT3 headunit, with the built in phone, or are we talking about the unit where the CD drive is seperate?

Yeh its the whole unit with the phone built in,it says bad on bottom and no signal on top of screen,sometimes it works but not very often cheers .

check your aerial and connection, it could just be something so simple, also eject the CD and give that a clean, then put the CD back in and with the engine running press and hold the "DARK" button for 10 seconds this will reboot the radio and hopefully solve the problem.

Tried clean disc press dark,took ariel off roof put back on still no avail,says 0 visible satellites and location Bad?? HELP!!

It worked and went back to bad location and 0 visible satellites.

It sounds like there is a fault with the aerial, it could be a bad connection in the base, how is the radio signal? It could also be a bad earth, again, on the aerial base.

Radio signal great no probs with it,I haven't been on the open road yet will reboot it again and try it when am driving on the road,my parking sensors rnt working either ,might sell the car !

have you been out on the "open road" yet? another thing that springs to mind, how old is the satnav disc?
