7 mm glow plug wire nut rounded

hi all done 3 plugs today on dw8 no bother when i got to the fourth the 7mm nut was rounded to the last.( the nut holds on the wire to glow plug) tryed mini viscripts but no good? any1 got any ideas how get the little bugger off?

As you're swapping them anyway I'd be in there with a junior hacksaw blade and just chop off the top of the glowplug. There's an insulating disc between the top and the body and this should 'give' fairly easily. In fact it may 'give' just be wrenching it with a decent pair of pliers...

Are the nuts not 8mm?

or the other thing is an angle grinder with a cutting disc ,

just kidding Jim,

you might be able to use a dremal type device with a tinny cutting disc on,

or a very small nut splitter,

and yes some of the later ones can be 7mm nuts

ya its 7 i think or like 4mm after the last fella changed em ha. ya that good thinking if the 3 glow plug do the trick will i just leave it?? thanks for help. also is it normal for manfold to be coved in black oil stuff?

even when im replacing a set of glow plugs i always connect them across a battery to see which if any are dead or alive,

so just test the 3 you have removed this will give you an idea if you find some of the three dead, unless all four had failed,
