looking at the wiring diagram - between the fuse *F16* and the lights is something label C200 - what is it? as its not on the later models just on the earlier ones?

Not sure, I don't have my data to hand although It does not appear to cover 806's very well for some reason. Don't forget you need the stalk too in most cases the front fogs are controlled from the indicator stalk. Not sure if the column wiring will have the appropriate wires already present or not.
Andy.

thank you - yes i have the stalk , its a generic one from a number of pugs of that age (and other psa) and all other functions work as they should - just not the fog lights; its wierd - i did the same as an old 306 (added lights checked relay, added stalk) and it worked off the bat

I don't have any data on it :( unfortunately.

I'd have to (assume!) its the relay. Does the handbook not show where the front fog relay lives ? :)
Andy.

nope - the handbook (which i actually have) - only shows the fuses and not the relays :( ; the pete russek book (again i have) has the wiring digram.... but not alot else :( theres 1 empty space in the glove box fuse board for a relay and several in the engine bay fuse box

Do you have the wiring in place around the front end ?

You could use a meter to check for power in each relay socket then do it again with the 'fog lights' switch switched on, then you'll know which it should be, this might be the easiest way actually as you'll know for sure.

EDIT... Bear in mind some might be powered as well, basically you need to find which one is different when the front fogs are on, nothing more than that.

aye the wiring was there and tucked up inside the wing - the block just `slipped` on to the lights (its wierd btw they are bigger than the cut out on the bumper)

hope this works:

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

supposed to the wiring digram - easy enough to follow- just at a loss what `C200` actually is

Ah.

I think its just a multiplug or a connector.

0002 is the switch, 0004 is the instrument panel, fsf1 is the relay box (probably engine bay as its got a fuse with it), bf00 is another fuse (probably fascia fusebox as its low current side from what I see.

aye thats what i worked it out to be (not a trained sparks) battery being BB00 ofc , the relay is labeled 2665 leading to the stalk , then to the fuse (book says F18 is a 10a fuse , for rear fog lamps and indicator) then down to C200

I'd go with it being just a connector really. I cannot see anything amiss in the picture. :)
