rp number

i've just had a look on the citroen rp number list for my xantia, but it says that the number is on the flitch plate, excuse me if i'm dumb, but what is the flitch plate? & where is it?

Filtch is inner wing (I think).
I think on mine it is stencilled on the bulk head behind the drivers side strut in yellow. Look for a 4 digit number. If it's got letters in that's the paint code.
