Xantia RH Top engine mount

i think the rh top engine mount is gone i am not sure. its 99' Xantia 1.9TD with 190K miles

there seem to be a lot of play between the rubber and car body. there is a vibration in the car.
I've done all bushes, balljoints Track rod ends and drop link arms. 6 new spheres done the tracking and balanced the wheel and t vibration is still there.

also its only doing only 40MPG

any advice welcome

Jack the engine, pop the mount off and inspect it, it's held onto the inner wing by a nut accessible via the wheel arch if memory serves.
The other one that goes is the rear engine mount down at the back.

Nick, does it only happen when accelerating?

if so..It could also be one of the inner driveshaft joints..

my TD does 36 mpg as an average... but I drive it quite hard and run it on used oil, not diesel.. it's not brill on fuel but the cost makes up for that....

it happens between 25mph and 35mph
i've ordered the engine mounts will be fitting them later
wil see how i get on

Have you checked the gearbox mount under the air filter box, forgot to tighten mine up and vibrated really badly maybe worn so check it.
Only 40 MPG and whats up with that.
