saxo diesel

is the power steering pump for a saxo diesel ( R reg) similar to any other models (petrol etc)

If it's electric yes, i know a lot of the saxo petrols used electric pumps, 106 use the same pump but in a slighly different mounting, not too difficult to swap over if you're on the lookout for one

As far as I know they are all the same (106's and Saxo's) the pump that is. If its got electric P/S and its RHD then the pump is the same.

Note: some TUD 1.5 LHD models have a conventional pump driven off the ancillary belt. Not sure what the 1.6 TU petrol (either LHD/RHD) units have.

For Peugeot the part number of the electric pump is 4007Q5, all models have this number that I can see its just the bracketry is a bit different.

go look on ebay they are about £30 last time i bought one.
the 1.6 tu's are electric for future ref :)
