Heater relay? Hasn't got one as such. Do you mean the bits that control the blower Harry? Fuel pump relay is one half of the double injection relay the sits next to the engine ECU. I have the diagrams but not accessible at the mo...

Thanks Jim, I bypassed the feed to my hearter and rear screen direct to my battery ages ago, as it stopped working, before that it would work sometimes it was temperamental, so i bypassed it with a direct feed.so i dont know if there was a relay that was stopping it from working, as all fuses are/where ok . Any help please , as im stumped on this one .

Thanks Harry

There's no relay on a MK1 for the blower Harry...

This sort of problem now is likely to be a failure in the loom between the engine bay and the ignition switch... It fails where it passes under the rad and may need a bypass...

There's been a few posts on sorting the blower and this problem. A search will help dig them out...

I'm very pushed for time for the foreseeable but as soon as I have some I'll sort out what you need if you cannot find. I may be some time though :(
