Headlamp glass for Saxo

Doing a pre MOT checkover of wife's 106/Saxo today and spotted a crack in the o/s headlamp lens. Is this an MOT failure?
Are lenses available separately? If not any idea of cost of new unit?
Or anyone got one for sale/ going spare?

I don't think they will be available separately. A crack is almost a failure I suspect it will move the beam / pattern slightly anyway.

There's quite a few on Ebay if a local breaker does not have one, remember there's two "shapes" though depening on vehicle age. Not sure when the changeover occured, at a guess 2000 model year but I'm a Peugeot Man.

i think i still have some new old stock Saxo head lamps,

if you can send me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will get the corect part No. from service citroen

The last 8 digits according to the brand new red logbook are- 50594207, its an L reg.
If you could PM me your no. we can iron out the details on the phone.

Paul service citroen does not like those 8 digits and comes back with Unknown vehicle, so can you try again and also check that chassis No. against the one stamped on the cars wing rain chanle,

even though yor car will be a MK1 which should be

that could explain why service citroen did not like the VIN No.,

Indeed it's a 106, as I think I mentioned in the OP, The MOT runs out 23rd so I need to get something sorted ASAP, Ideally at the weekend.
