Hi everyone just took my car in to have the windows tinted and I have no idea how the boot glass opens. A quick reply will be much appreciated Thanks.

...& i'll bet it doesn't
you watch, it'll be the one & only one that does.
for quick access for tinting, open boot, pop off cover & pull rod down.
for longer term fix, quick search should find info you're looking for

Re: Opening C5 estate boot Glass "Desperate"
Its a great idea, (could work more often) if your just lifting a few things into the boot and dont require the opening of the full lid, if someone has parked to close and prevented the boot from being open. I find it especially useful if you have dogs, as the window can be opened to let in air, get leads on or whatever while they are still secure.
Another great feature of the C5 estate is the pull up net blind which goes fron the back of the parcel tray to the roof, making large or unstable loads more secure and keeps the dogs in the boot too, ideal.
