does anybody have a dw8 head they can examine

Hi, related to my other post about a water leak from the head.

There is a square lug with a hole in below the middle bolt on the front of the head. I suspect this hole leads straight into the hole the bolt goes through.

Can somebody confirm please. If it does then I'm pretty certain my head is cracked and water i coming up the bolt hole

Ok , had a look at the head, and basically ,yours must be cracked, because that lug is directly in front of a stud hole, and that has a water jacket both sides. I have taken a couple of pics if they help

Well you live and learn, should have drained it down whilst it was standing.

Scrap man it is then.. I really cant be bothered doing a head swap, specially since its got 190k on the clock something else major is bound to fail as soon as its done!!!
