I have Xantia activa it has been difficult to find normal driving mode, have to trick it by raising it to the top while it is in the process raise you put the lever on the normal.
It's just like the plastic arm would be loose, but no I have looked. The reglage has not jammed.
Look on the picture not normal, front is at the bottom
