Xantia HDi Fan Temperatures

Does anybody happen to know at what temperature the fans should kick in on an HDi 110 Xantia?

Worringly high if you're unfamiliar with HDi's !! About 95 deg c for first stage fan speed. The second speed has never kicked in on mine. The only time they ever operate on mine are on the hottest days of summer after queuing in traffic for some time, like 20 minutes or more. Might be a bit quicker if pulling a caravan up hill etc.

I think it's higer than 95 (normal run is 90) - about 100 IIRC. You will never get the fans on an HDi to come on with the engine only idling this weather! High speed is over 110 - I've only had it on once on mine - sitting in traffic on a 30C day (yes, in Scotland) without the AC on (Wimmin... ) then put it on. Engine temp was already about 100, then must have got high AC pressure as they came on full - it's quite an experience - whole car vibrates!

I'm wondering why the cut-in temperature is higher on a 110 than on a 1.9TD. Does the 110 cooling system run at higher pressure?
