Xantia fan
Hi, just joined the forum. I have a 2000 Xantia HDI LX, and recently I have noticed that when I switch the engine off, I cannot hear the fan winding down, like I can normally hear. Usually, this only happens if the AC is off and/or the outside temp is below zero, but my AC is on, and the temp has been 5 or 6 degrees for the last few days. Coolant temp shows as fine, but then again, the longest journey I've done recently was only 40 minutes or so. Any ideas, or am I worrying about nothing?? Thanks.

Re: Xantia fan
Maybe the ac isnt working, have you checked if the compressor is running, if the system has lost gas, then it wont come on, hence the fans wont need to work. In this weather the coolant doesnt often get hot enough to require the fans to work.
