You should know that Malc, the useual PAS Feed pipe that runs along the subframe edge behind the engine.. All the S2 cars had NON coated pipes which rust through if theres no oil leak to coat the pipe...

S1 pipes are coated for some reason.. It will be the single Long pipe from the PAS pump right round past the regulator, into a rubber flex onto the chassis round the gearbox end, down the side of the subframe leg, along the bottom edge across to the Pinion valve.. S1 and S2 with anti sink are all simmilar if not the same and should do the job.

It IS possible to remove this pipe and refit with a bit of jiggleing while the engine and box is in place. I did it on a DERV Auto, and they are a bigger box!

I wonder if it would be possible to get someone like pirtek to make up the rubber part of it to replace it.
When the one on the xantia went I made up a copper pipe without the rubber part, it works fine but you can feel the vibration in the steering wheel even with a couple of coils in it.
