Bike rack on BX

Has anyone used one of the strap-on style bike racks on a BX? I'm a bit worried that the plastic tailgate might not be up to it. Any opinions??

Yep. Many times. 4 full size adult bikes, with most of the weight acting downwards on the rear glass, all the way to the south of France at motorway speeds. Each time without a hitch. Done the same a couple of times in the Xantia too!
