The engine is the familiar 2.0 16valve unit from the renault family, but with a Turbo bolted on for added complication.
Must say , its not a job for the faint hearted
. Much better access than the 2.0 Clio sports though, they really are a b*****d 
Anyway all went well, new water pump replaced at the same time, the dealer quoted for this job and a CV gaiter to be resecured £2000, in fact a bit more
Wouldn't mind a few at half that cost.
