Chassis Number 01C78206
Part number is 1351 W1 Bottom Radiator Hose.
The million dollar question is:-
What was its original 95 XXX XXX part number?
I don't think this can be found on service Citroen but I am hoping someone on the Forum has some old part numbers documentation!!
Can anyone tell me an original Part Number please?

Re: Can anyone tell me an original Part Number please?
You know how I said I needed to change the bottom radiator hose on Sylv's ZX as she was losing upto 2 litres of water a day due to air locks and all because the plastic clip had broken when we changed her radiator.
Miraculously, it looks as though I no longer have to do this repair...
That's because her engine had NO anti-freeze in. She said it was making a really loud and bad noise when she tried to start it today! Couldn't think why!

BTW, just in case it is OK and hasn't blown the head gasket or a core plug, has clever bod managed to find out what the original part number was for the bottom hose please?
Re: Can anyone tell me an original Part Number please?

Re: Can anyone tell me an original Part Number please?
Hi Malcolm,
Sorry I thought I had mentioned it in my OP but I only stated the current Part Number.
It's because I have 4 bottom hoses for ZX which I purloined off Graham at the Stratford Rally. They are all new old stock and so have their original Part Numbers on.
Today's the day for checking to see if her cylinder head gasket has now blown through freezing yesterday!!

Re: Can anyone tell me an original Part Number please?
All of the 4 hoses I have do have the plastic clip on (which breaks on removal) so I still have no idea which of the 4 hoses will fit Sylv's car.
One says XU9 on. Is that an engine code for a 1.9 Petrol PSA Engine? Or has someone missed the D off, I wonder?
All 4 bottom hoses I have are all slightly different in configuration diameter, etc so I really need advice from someone on the Forum that may have an old Citroen Parts Catalogue or CD's lying around with older part numbers on?
It seems that the main strength/focus of the forum is Xantias which as many of you will know I do drive but information on ZX's seems thin on the ground. Is it me or is it because the ZX is not revered as a 'proper' Citroen?
