About 2 weeks ago I managed to dislodge the red LED alarm warning light from it's position next to the digital clock, on the dashboard. The plipper's not worked for a while so I don't think it was even coming on.No problem,just a hole where it was.This may or may not be connected to the following.
Yesterday, the battery was momentarily disconnected, and so needed to go through the whole alarm cancelling rigmarole, re coding radio etc,. Having (Ithink) followed the correct procedure,and all the light flashing finished, the LED is on constantly, shining out from the depths of the dashboard.It may be a reflection, but it looks like there may be 2 LED's hiding in there.
Is there a procedure to cancel this light without using the plipper?
How is the holder removed from the dash?
Would removing bulb(s) cause any problems?
