Whereas the FCF tends to be more for general car issues and prides itself on an atmosphere like a country pub (but with less inbreeding).Deanxm wrote:addo wrote:As the blunt ocker in this cultural soup, I have to ask "Why?"

Re: Wiltshire French Cars!
I thought the inbreeding was the apeal of a yokal pub and part and parcel of the atmosphere?(but with less inbreeding).

Re: Wiltshire French Cars!
Good luck with this forum
Sadly, these days it is incredibly hard to get a new forum established in areas where forums have been in existence for ever in Internet terms. This forum (the FCF) has been about for 12 years now in various forms... It seems that once folks find and get comfy on a forum it is hard to get comfy in another - just like a local pub really...
They become a way of life...
Give yours plenty of time to become established but please put some member sign-up protection on. As soon as the spammers find you they'll have a field day. You'll have more handbags, shoes, cameras and goods of a questionable nature than you'll know what to do with...

Re: Wiltshire French Cars!
Thanks to the serious replies (lol), I realise it will be difficult to get it off the ground, but it's been something I've been thinking of a lot in the past two years or so, and I decided to get the ball rolling this year. Only way to get it off the ground is to plug the name all over the place, and soon enough, people will come I'm sure. Already growing slowly, and various people have bought the merch I have for sale.
But seriously, if anyone is interested, have a nosey!
And @ CitroJim, thanks mate, will be offering some protection as soon as possible.
Regards,
Alex.
