C5 dodgy stalks

Hello,
I do believe my column stalks are on their way out. My full beam won't always stay on and I have no wash with my rear wipe. Also, when I push the button for the computer the rear wiper does a single wipe, every time it is pressed.
Are the stalks goosed?

It sounds like a problem with the stalks yes, well rather the comms2000 unit which is the stalks and the unit behind them. It seems that some fail and give confused signals through the multiplexing and so stalks and buttons operate things they shouldn't.

The new comms is around £180-£200 from Citroen.

Ouch! That explains the price of them on fleabay and the lack of them in the breakers! By any chance are they the same as the 406/407 items?

May be worth contacting BBA Reman and see if a repair might be a cost effective alternative.

Nice one ta, I've bookmarked their site. I have got some stalks from a hatchback but these are obviously no good to me in my estate! ebay here they come, along with some other bits!
