Hi,
I have just bought a FAI kit from our local motor factor. I don't know if others here have used them- the rollers look beefier than the original, brackets look a bit different, so will have to look closer when the original is removed. Has anyone else on the forum used FAI stuff before. Xantia 2 Sx 1.9TD

Yes, and they seem fine Greg. AS you say, they look well made and robust.

Re: Timing Belt Kit
xud engines are sooooo robust ive not actually ever changed and rollers on them as they are already all metal rollers.. My sx td 1994 xantia has 240k on it and well used rollers.. There is however no play in the bearings..
I have though used FAI kits on later hdi engines as they do have rubbish stupid plastic rollers and they are a lot stronger...
Good luck changing the xud tensioner one.. That spring is dammm strong! And its dam fiddle to get back in place..
