Laguna 1.9 dci 2001, rear doors don't open

Hi, new to this forum and i hope someone can help, i have a Laguna Dynamic 1.9 dci, on a 51 plate, recently after having a few electrical problems i renewed the alternator and the battery, since then i'm unable to unlock both rear doors. When i operate the key fob i can hear the mechanisim operate but can't open the doors, now for the strange bit. if i open the front passenger door and operate the central locking the rear pasenger door will open, but drivers side won't. Any help would be great, i thought i gave up having a 2 door car ages ago , many thanks

Will it lock/unlock using the button on the centre console ? Do you get a high pitch buzzing noise at all when you lock it up ?

Hi, i've just tried the button on the centre console and it only unlocks the rear passenger door, driver's side rear door still doesn't open, the only noise coming from the doors is the central locking being activated/deactivated, at a loss as to what it can be
