Do a search for "Xantia Power Steering", forum ignores words

Am I doing something wrong here?

Do a search for "Xantia power steering" in 'Topic titles only', but forum ignores the words 'Xantia' and 'Steering' as they are too common!!

Even with putting a '+' in front of each one. . . or looking for entire phrase "Xantia power steering"??

Come-on, is there a little trick to this I'm missing??

How else you meant to do it?

It seems a better way to search the forum is to just put the query straight into google and find the links from there.

That seems to be the preferred method, as with most forums.

I recently upgraded my operating system and naturally a new install of Firefox was called for. (Comes with the OS).
Everything is fine except that Firefox (9.0.1) now searches with Yahoo! from the address bar.
The results it returns are absolutely abysmal in comparison to a Google search from the search box on the right.
Up to now I have failed miserably to wind it back to the default Google search - which oddly enough it remains on the laptop.
Yahoo is a right pile of........

Just to clarify, the forum search function is just a sql search, a very good free sql search but all the same, just a sql search.
Google on the other hand have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars developing search algarithms.

Being able to search for a number of terms is a fundamental part of the forum surely?

I reckon someone has changed a setting somewhere. . . come-on, own up!!
